No shortcuts… it takes 1000s of hours to become relevant in any area and domain

Cristian Ungur, musician, composer, producer

I’m not the most active person when it comes to posting smart quotes on Facebook but I did read something absolutely brilliant a couple of weeks ago that’s definitely worth sharing.  This person summarized the entire Kingdom message in a couple of phrases that sound like this: “The Christianity I grew up with asks me to accept Jesus into my heart if I want to leave Earth for Heaven when I die - ESCAPE “ - “The Christianity of scripture commands my allegiance to Jesus and participation in bringing Heaven to Earth while I live - INVASION ”.

The greatest deception

I think the greatest deception the church has lived is believing that its main focus is to save as many unbelievers as possible and escape Earth, when God’s true assignment for His church is actually to partner with Him so His plans will be fulfilled on Earth as is it in Heaven.

The ball is in my court

The day I understood that I realized that the ball was actually in my court and it was up to me how far I was going to go. I believe God is always willing to open the right doors for us but to reach certain places we will have to qualify; we will have to show consistency, responsibility and a true representation of His Son in the world. From my experience as long as I did my part God has always created the right circumstances for me to improve and get better at what I do.

There are no shortcuts for anyone and it takes thousands of hours to become relevant in any area or domain. I hope that more and more believers will take the responsibility of working with excellency so they can reach higher places of influence and bring change.

I believe in time, as God brings back this revelation into our churches, we’ll see sons and daughters rising up to their true potential and initial mandate to become  more and more relevant in bringing Kingdom values and solutions in our society.
